Director Chartering & Projects Jumbo-SAL-Alliance

Laurens started working for Jumbo Shipping in 1999 and has managed the global commercial department for the last 10 years. During the last 1.5 years Laurens has been in the driving seat with a team of 4 to establish the joint venture Jumbo-SAL-Alliance, which has been developed through a ‘bottom up’ philosophy. 

Jumbo-SAL-Alliance are experts in heavy lift transport solutions and stand for reliability, trust, innovation and partnerships with customers. Supported by a fleet of 30 specialised project cargo vessels Jumbo-SAL-Alliance provides engineering solutions for any logistical requirement, whether it is a one off shipment or fully fletched service package for multiple shipments. 

Currently Laurens holds the position of Director Chartering and Projects specialising in oil and gas and key projects.
